ASIA in ASIA Live at the Budokan, 1983 (2022)

 

Ursprünglich erschien dieser Mitschnitt der Supergroup ASIA als 1983 VHS-Kassette, jetzt gibt es Asia in Asia – Live at the Budokan neu abgemischt als Doppelalbum.

 

Die Band bestand zum Augenblick des Konzerts aus den ehemaligen Yes-Mitgliedern Geoffrey Downes (Keyboards) und Steve Howe (Gitarre) sowie den ELP-Mitstreitern Greg Lake (Gesang, Bass) und Carl Palmer (Drums). 

 

Die herausragende Performance "Live at the Budokan, Tokyo, 1983" war die erste Liveübertragung zwischen Japan und MTV. " Das Album beinhaltet die größten und bekanntesten Tracks von ASIA inklusive "Heat Of The Moment", "Only Time Will Tell", "Sole Survivor" und "Wildest Dreams".
