“ABSOLUTE ROCK – The Classic Rock Hour”
Nr. 150 - Celebration Day
Sendung 150 ist ein kleines Jubiläum, und
in wenigen Wochen im Februar bietet dann der dreijährige Geburtstag der Sendung
noch einmal einen Grund zum Feiern.
Seit Anfang des Jahres darf ich neben den
Hörern von Radio Agora und Radio Flora auch die von Radio Ypsilon in umd um
Hollabrunn und em Retzer Land in Niederösterreich sowie im Grenzgebiet zur
Tschechischen Republik und in der Slowakei herzlich bei ABSOLUTE ROCK begrüßen.
Diese kleine Jubiläumssendung begehe ich
mit Musik aus den Sechzigern und frühen Siebzigern. Gespielt werden Bands die
für die Entwicklung des Rockmusik von essentieller Bedeutung waren, wie. die
Beatles, die Rolling Stones, die Who und die Kinks.
Wiedereinmal ist diese Sendung eine
zweisprachige auf Deutsch und Englisch!
Programme 150 is a small reason to
celebrate, and in a few weeks from now in February the third anniversary of
Absolute Rock gives us further reason to celebrate. Since the beginning of this
year I am not only welcoming the listeners of Radio Agora and Radio Flora to
Absolute Rock, but also those of Radio Ypsilon in the area around Hollabrunn
and Retz in Lower Austria, and in the neighbouring regions of the Czech
Republic and Slovakia.
This programme features music from the
Sixties and early Seventies and bands who all had a major influence on the
development of Rock music, like the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, the Who and
the Kinks.
Once again this edition of Absolute Rock
will be a bilingual one in German and English!
