Am Programm dieser Sendung steht ein Mix aus Songs von 3 Gruppen: Manfred Mann´s Earth Band, The Sensational Alex Harvey Band und Deep Purple.

1998 brachte Manfred Mann´s Earthband mit „Mann ALive“ ein weiteres Livealbum heraus, das während der „Soft Vengeance Tour“ 1996/97 in Europa aufgenommen worden war. Von Alex Harvey und seinen Mannen der SAHB spiele ich drei Songs von drei verschiedene Alben, die alle auf ihre Art und Weise unkonventionell sind. Und mit „Lucille“ kommt ein alter Rock´n´Roll Song zu Ehren, den die Mark II Besetzung der britischen Hardrocker in den frühen Siebziger Jahren gerne als Zugabe gespielt haben.

In diesem Sinne: ROCK ON!
