Es gibt kaum eine wahrhaftigere, amerikanischere Rockband als Lynyrd Skynyrd. Die ikonischen Rock & Roll Hall of Fame-Mitglieder sind eine der einflussreichsten Rock’n’Roll-Legenden unserer Zeit. „Live In Atlantic City“, die neue Live-Veröffentlichung der Band, zelebriert und ehrt mithilfe von drei großartigen Künstlern ihren bisherigen Erfolgsweg.

Zusammen mit eben jenen unglaublich talentierten musikalischen Gästen, sorgten Lynyrd Skynyrd in der Decades Rock Arena in Atlantic City für einen unvergesslichen Abend. Mit dabei waren: 3 Doors Down, Hank Williams Jr. und dem amerikanischen Singer/Songwriter Bo Brice, der in der 4. Staffel von American Idol hinter Country-Legende Carrie Underwood Zweitplatzierter wurde.

Komplett neu gemixt und gemastert, zelebriert Live In Atlantic City die Legende Lynyrd Skynyrd mit einer energiegeladene. Jeder der Gäste performt gemeinsam mit der Band deren größte und beliebtesten Hits - und auch die ein oder andere Eigenkomposition. Mit einer gemeinsamen Performance aller Gäste erreicht die Show mit den Hits Sweet Home Alabama und Call Me The Breeze ihren Höhepunkt.

Der Himmel weinte, als Gary Moore am 6. Februar 2011 von uns ging. Als Mitglied von Bands wie Thin Lizzy und Colosseum II, sowie durch Solo-Hits wie ‚Parisienne Walkways‘ und ‚Out In The Fields‘, hat Gary nicht nur eine ganze Generation von Gitarristen, sondern auch das Gitarrenspiel selbst beeinflusst. 

Der Bassist und Produzent Bob Daisley spielte mit Gary seit den 1980ern und war maßgeblich mit dafür verantwortlich, dass Gary sein erstes Blues Album aufnahm - der Rest ist Geschichte, denn ‚Still Got The Blues‘ wurde ein weltweiter Erfolg, auf den eine Serie von klassisch modernen Blues Alben folgten. Bob Daisley, ebenfalls bekannt für sein Mitwirken u. a. bei Rainbow, Ozzy Osbourne und Mungo Jerry, ist die treibende Kraft hinter „Moore Blues For Gary“. Neben Daisley, führt „Moore Blues for Gary“ zahlreiche Gastmusiker, Freunde, Familie und Verehrer zusammen, darunter John Sykes (ex-Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake), Steve Morse (Deep Purple, Dixie Dregs), Eric Singer (Kiss), Don Airey (Deep Purple, Rainbow), Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple), Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake, Dio), Steve Lukather (Toto), Joe Lynn Turner (Rainbow), Jeff Watson (Night Ranger), Damon Johnson (Black Star Riders, Alice Cooper) und Stan Webb (Chicken Shack) und Garys Söhne Jack und Gus.
